Lesson 4,Lesson5.11042013.12042013.Make Frame,floor,FFD

today we complete the exercise given as we can.

and 

this is the exercise i've done,this is the 1st room i made with 3Ds max!=D

today we also learn to modifier FFD 4x4x4 (Free Form Deformation)--which able to make the FLUFFY feel.

Firstly we have to draw a Chamferbox.

modify>FFD(4*4*4)>move the boxes as u like.

Lesson 3:05042013-Make a hole on the wall & starting of Exercise 1

Today class we learnt how to import AUTOCAD file to 3Ds MAX.

Import>Browse file>Select>Rick click the object>click "FREEZE SELECTION"

with the command above,we have imported the autocad file to 3DMAX and done freeze the CAD file.
and made the drawing stay still in the drawing table.
The Autocad 2D file will become grey color.

after that we may start to produce the drawing on the cad file which freeze on the screen
constructing a wall and using boolean to make opening.

Compound Object>Boolean>click on the object (large)>click "Pick operand B">click the place which u wanna make the hole >click outside of the drawing
here's you go the Openning was done.

Lesson 2 :04042013-Make a handrail

Today lesson started with recap the things last time we do.

Mr Fendy asked us to use those commands he taught last lesson to let us remember what we learnt.

This is what i had drawn for today class by using lines.shapes,box,text and extrude it.

After recap,Mr Fendy start to teach us the most basic things.

he asked us to use "cylinder" which Radius:20,Height 50 

and switch to "Front View" then click "zoom all"

press"shift"and choose "copy" is used to copy the object.

"shift" and choose "instant is used to copy object and able to change the original object with the clone object.

This is the cylinder i had done with the COPY & INSTANT command.

This is the FRONT VIEW

This is the whole view including TOP,FRONT,LEFT & PERSPECTIVE view.

when i finished copy and instant the cylinder and change the cloned cylinder to Height 300.
after tat click  to MODIFY>Bend,bend the short cylinder to 90 degree.
Cylinder>Height Segment
            To Rotate, use

 ANGLE SNAP TOGGLE(the 2nd button from left)

then combine two cylinder together.

3Ds max is not like Autocad which need to combine line finely,
It's okay to combine it even it not fully stick together.

This is the FINAL work i done.
